Myah Harvey earns All-State and North/South Honors

Congratulations to Myah Harvey on an excellent senior season. After the regular season Myah was selected to the AAAA All-State Team and was also selected to play in the North-South Game representing AAAA. On the season Myah led the Red Foxes offnsively in batting average, Hits, Triples, Home Runs, and RBI. She had had a great High School career and will continue to play at Wafford next year.

Myah Harvey was voted by the Region V Coaches as the Player of the Year. She has had a great senior season and looks to continue into the playoffs. On the season Myah hit .478, with a 1.130 Slugging percentage. She had 7 doubles 4 triples,10 home runs with 33 RB during the season.
Softball Swampfox invitational Results

The Red Foxes competed in a tough Swampfox Invitational softball tournament Friday and Saturday in Ashley RIdge. Hartsville went 1-3 in the tournament saving the best for last.
The first game Hartsville faced Summerville. Abbey Byrd picked up the Foxes lone run on a solo home run in the fourth inning, this was the only hit of the game for Hartsville.
In game 2 the Red Foxes out hit Hanahan but couldn't outscore them as Hartsville lost 2-6. EmmaKate Hudson, Abbey Byrd, and Mary Ellyn Hickey each picked up 2 hits each.
Saturdays first game was against Oceanside Collegiate. Errors by the Hartsville defense led to 3 unearned runs as Oceanside was able to beat the Red Foxes 4-1. Each team collected only 3 hits in the game. Arianna Gainey, Mary Ellyn Hickey and Abby Byrd each had a hit for Hartsville.
In the fInal game of the tournament the bats came to life for the Red Foxes. Hartville beat Beaufort 19-0. The Red Foxes collected 15 hits in the game. Arianna Gainey led the way for Hartsville going 3-3 with an inside the park home run, a double with 3 RBI. Raven Schaff was 2-3 with a double and 3 RBI. Terriney Thompson, EmmaKate Hudson, Mary Ellyn Hickey and Kymber Gainey also had a multi-hit game. Gainey picked up the win with a 3 inning complete game shutout.
